Grassroots Players

While the beautiful game we see on TV has clubs and players striving for domestic and international success, grassroots football is the same, but at a local level.  Grassroots football is governed by the Football Association (FA) and run by volunteers, including parents.  Some have achieved FA coaching certification, which allows the volunteers to implement the basic fundamentals of coaching, health and safety.

Grassroots football is played in leagues, which usually play their matches on Sunday, hence the term “Sunday League”.   Grassroots football helps to develop the talent and confidence of players regardless of where they are from.  Grassroots players are encouraged to improve their football skills whilst having fun.

SCOUTS CONNECT gives players opportunities to move to the next level.  Players registered with SCOUTS CONNECT can prepare for their next opportunity by getting advice from a professional scout before going for showcases, ID matches or trials (Platinum members only).  Parents can reduce the stress, time and money spent in trying to get their children the opportunities they deserve by registering to become a member.  As ex-professional players, coaches and scouts, we at SCOUTS CONNECT know that children develop at different stages and aim to provide opportunities for players when they are ready.

SCOUTS CONNECT gives players the freedom to focus on developing their ability and self-confidence, knowing that SCOUTS CONNECT will provide the opportunities they need to be seen at showcases and even to be scouted just by being on the database (Gold and Platinum members).
